There are over 160 individual video segments on the iHikes system. For your convenience, each of these segments is available in three different formats (wmv, mp4, m4v) allowing playback on a wide range of digital media devices, from PCs to hand-held media players.
The ADVENTURE CROSSING content has been developed with input from National Park Service staff and local experts, including the Park Cooperating Association at each location.
We’ll give you a heads-up on topics such as wildlife, scenic drives, camping, lodging, park highlights and much more. Pre-trip planning includes driving information, travel tips, local services and other information that will help you make the most of your time.
In Choose-A-Trail we provide you with video trail guides to help you choose hiking trails that match your ability level and areas of interest.
